Elizabeth Ann Stancliffe formerly Mrs Charles

Elizabeth Ann ran Windlesham jointly for 37 years with her late husband, Charles Malden, whose family owned and ran the School since starting it in 1837. Former Governor of Rugby, Bedales and Truro Schools.

Tammy & Max Bascombe (Marlar)

Tammy is a former Windlesham pupil/student teacher, conservationist and fundraiser.

David Boden
Kristina and Philip Cook (Gifford)

Tina is a former Windlesham pupil and mother of two. Double Olympic Bronze medallist in Beijing and European Champion in Eventing (Equestrian) 2009.

Jane Denman

Former Windlesham parent of four, Captain of the England Golf Team and founder member of the European Golf Circuit. Former Governor of Windlesham, Jane runs neighbouring Garden Cottage Nursery and loves raising money for charity.

The Honourable Richard Denman

Former Windlesham parent, Director of Sports at Sotogrande for 10 years, local landowner and farmer.

Lord Denman CBE MC TD

Former Chairman of Governors at Windlesham, retired Bank Director, President of the Royal Society of Asian Affairs.

Charles and Rosie Drayson

Charles learnt to swim in the pool at Windlesham, aged 5.  He and Rosie had 3 children at Windlesham between 1986-1995.  His career was in the perfume industry.  He is now a local magistrate on the West Sussex Bench

Charles and Noelle Durrant

Charlie was at Windlesham between 1981-87 and gap year teacher at the School 1991-2.  He is now a plastic surgeon specialising in microsurgical reconstruction.

Tony & Minnie Durrant

Tony and Minnie’s three children, Ben, Charlie and Malindi were at Windlesham from 1980-1990 and between them have produced 10 grandchildren.  As well as spending time in USA, Spain and Kenya, where Minnie runs a small orphanage, Tony is on the Board of AMREF.

Sir Ewan and Lady Sarah Fergusson

Sir Ewen is a former Windlesham parent, former British Ambassador in Paris, former Chairman of Coutts & C0., and former Chairman of the Savoy Group.  He was also Chariman of Governors at Rugby School.  Sarah was a Windlesham Governor and parent and a fund raiser for VSO.

Jania Geoghegan

Mother of Nick and Christo, who both thoroughly enjoyed their time at Windlesham. She is passionate about education and is on the advisory board of Teach First, is a Governor of a London inner city school and chairs the UK Trustee Board of the charity, Education Africa.

Michael Geoghegan

Group CEO of HSBC Holdings. He served five years as Chair of Young Enterprise and is an ardent advocate of financial education for children.

Jonny & Nikki Glover

Both are former Windlesham parents and Nikki is an ex-pupil.  Jonny is a water engineer and lake consultant.

Duncan Goodhew MBE

Former Windlesham pupil, learnt to swim breaststroke at Windlesham, Olympic gold medallist.

Harry & Pip Goring

The last two of Harry and Pip’s six children, Dominic and Gabriella, were amongst the first pupils at the newly opened ‘Little Windlesham’  and they spent 7 years at “Lovely Windlesham”.  Harry and Pip have long connections with Windlesham.  In 2006, they fulfilled a 38yr old dream and planted a vineyard which is producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noit and Pinot Meunier grapes to make sparkling wine (done in the Champagne method). It will be ready to drink in 2012.  Pip also spent five years teaching the 1’s to cook in her own home.

David & Nicky Gray

David and Nicki have had three children pass through Windlesham between 1986 and 2008. David works in the communications business and Nicky worked for the Conservative Party in the lead-up to the recent General Election.

Dame Denise Holt

Recently retired Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and to Andorra, previously Ambassador to Mexico and FCO Director for Human Resources. Former Windlesham parent; forever grateful for the continuity it gives children of the Diplomatic Service.

Noah Huntley

Noah was at Windlesham between 1980-1984.  He was a child actor in Tom’s Midnight Garden and the Ruth Rendell Mysteries.  He has also had roles in Emmerdale, Holby City and starred in Danny Boyle’s “28 Days Later” and Disney’s “Narnia” as well as on stage with “Who’s afraid of Virgina Woolf”.  He says that Windlesham had the capacity to hold and nurture his imagination and he is our Nr. 1 Fan!

Ben & Lynne Lambourne

Ben is a former Windlesham pupil and partner of Faldo Events – a golf event management company, sponsorship consultants and rights holders.

Patrick Lewis

Patrick, a former Windlesham pupil and business consultant for Bain & Company and Manager at Proctor & Gamble.  He is now a Director of the John Lewis Partnership and has been a school Governor.

Ian & Caroline McNeil

As a former Windlesham parent and Governor Ben has a wide experience in the independent schools sector including the Chairmanship of a company providing specialist insurance for schools, parents and their children.

Lady Judy Moody Stuart

Former Windlesham parent, Chairman of the Governors at Windlesham (1997-2001) and former Governor of Shrewsbury. Judy is on the board of the Asian Universities for women and on several university development boards.

Sir Mark Moody Stuart

Former Windlesham parent and grandparent to multiple future potentials, former Chairman of Shell and former Chairman of Anglo American. Current Vice Chairman of UN Global Compact.

Andrew Page

Former Windlesham pupil who is now the British Ambassador to Slovenia. He is keen to develop links between Windlesham and Slovenian schools. He speaks French, Russian, Ukrainian and now Slovene.

Christopher & SJ Radford

The Radfords are current Windlesham parents.  Christopher is a property investment manager in Hong Kong and SJ is a chartered accountant and former Governor of Kellett School, Hong Kong.

Former Windlesham parent, Foreign Office Minister, Home Office Minister, Chief Whip, Arts Minister, Author. Current President of the Governors at Brighton College, former President of Governors at Roedean.

Professor Ricky and Sarah Richardson

Ricky and Sarah had two boys at Windlesham in the 1980s. Ricky is a Consultant paediatrician at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and at The Child and Family Practice in Wimpole Street.

John was not only a parent and Chairman of the Governors (1993-97) of the school, but also Governor of Flexlands Pre-Prep and Marlborough College.

Gav Thompson

A former Windlesham pupil,  Gav worked for 13 years in the advertising industry in London, New York and Sydney, a founding partner of his own ad agency.  He is now Head of Brand Strategy at O2.

Former Windlesham parent and once the biggest donor to the Conservative Party Stuart decided to support UKIP in the 2009 elections
