There is plenty we can tell you about Windlesham House, but it is better to visit yourself.

Pupils are encouraged to try anything

We offer a wide range of co-curricular activities from NFL Flag football to street dance, we are lucky to have the current European Champion to coach our children karate. Professional tennis coaching remains our most popular activity with well over 100 pupils taking lessons during the week and due to our amazing swimming pool we have new activities such as water polo.

LAMDA continues to get excellent results in a range of disciplines whilst Lego and robotics are growing in numbers – it’s popular with girls as well as boys but there is still always a rush for the cookery club! Wednesday afternoons remain renowned for the creativity and buzz in the textiles department.

Over 250 activities to choose from

With so many activities to try, every child can find an area to excel whether in the arts, sports or academia. An outdoor classroom is used for survival lessons, building shelters and campfire cooking. It even boasts a pizza oven. Grounds also well-used for sports including the flood-lit astro pitch facility, a nine-hole golf course, hard and grass tennis courts, netball courts, athletics track and sports fields for cricket, football, rugby, and hockey.

Trips

A typical weekend’s activities include cookery, pottery, sporting activities and water inflatables (‘Total Wipe-Out’ style). Each weekend they can go to see the latest movies at the cinema, trampoling at Flip Out, bowling and the beach or Arundel Castle and The Wetlands Centre.

Bigger trips are peppered throughout the term and include Harry Potter World, rugby at Twickenham, SeaLife, Thorpe Park, Brighton Zip Wire, Bletchley Park, dry skiing etc. However, the most popular trip for the top year remains the trip to the local town (Worthing or Horsham) where they are given £5 for a chance to spend time with their friends.
