Windlesham House offers over 120 co-curricular activities throughout the year. This extraordinary range ensures every pupil finds activities they enjoy, whether their interests lie in sport, arts, academic pursuits, or practical skills. Activities take place during lunchtimes, after lessons and at weekends with different options each term.
Our 70-acre campus and exceptional facilities enable us to offer activities impossible in many schools. From PADI diving and shooting to design technology and robotics, pupils experience breadth of opportunity that develops well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges and choices of modern life.

We encourage all pupils to participate in co-curricular activities, though we balance this with ensuring adequate rest and free time. Most pupils participate in four to six activities per week. Boarders have additional weekend activities included in the boarding programme.
Most co-curricular activities are included in school fees. Some specialist coaching (such as professional golf or tennis coaching, external music or drama lessons) incur additional charges. Parents receive activity timetables before each term begins and can book online through our portal.
Yes, most activities allow trial sessions during the first two weeks of term. This helps pupils find activities they genuinely enjoy before making termly commitments. We encourage pupils to try new things even if they are unsure initially.
We have extensive provision for pupils who prefer individual or non-competitive activities. Options include swimming, golf, dance, creative pursuits and academic clubs. Our philosophy is that everyone should find physical activities they enjoy but these do not have to be traditional team sports.
Our school minibuses transport pupils to fixtures and activities at other venues. All transport is supervised by staff. For specialist off-site activities (such as horse riding or polo at external facilities), we arrange appropriate transport and ensure proper staff to pupil ratios.
