Year 3 visits Butser Ancient Farm

Year 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Butser Ancient Farm. They learnt all about life in the Stone Age and had the chance to become archaeologists for the day. The children took part in an archaeological excavation, explored traditional building techniques using clunch, tried their hand at chalk carving, and went on a Stone Age tour of the reconstructed settlements. It was a brilliant, hands-on experience that really brought our history learning to life.
