Scott House was full of energy and enthusiasm at this week’s house meeting! Our House Captains, Skye and Thomas, took the lead with confidence and have certainly hit the ground running. Scott House looks set for an exciting year under their leadership, and we congratulate them both on such a positive start. This week’s Penguin Awards were presented to George and Bosco, who were recognised for settling so quickly into their new environments and for consistently demonstrating kindness, positivity and excellent attitudes around the school. Charlie kept us up to date with the latest news while Gabi shared our fascinating fact of the week: no number before one thousand contains the letter ‘a’ when written out in words!
Our joke of the week, prepared by Victoria and brilliantly delivered by Aurelia, certainly raised plenty of smiles. We then finished with a fun drawing challenge, where everyone sketched a member of staff and the Scott staff team attempted to identify who was who. The artistic talent on display was impressive, with all but one of the portraits correctly guessed! Meanwhile, our mischievous house penguin, Philadelphia, was discovered in a variety of places he definitely should not have been throughout the morning, providing plenty of amusement for the house.
Another fantastic house meeting, full of laughter, celebration and community spirit.
