Year 5 enjoyed an unforgettable residential trip to PGL Little Canada on the Isle of Wight packed with adventure, challenge and plenty of fun.
Throughout their stay, the children embraced a wide range of exciting activities, including exploring Ryde Beach, conquering Jacob’s Ladder, tackling the Vertical Challenge and developing valuable outdoor skills through a variety of survival activities.
The trip provided countless opportunities for pupils to step outside their comfort zones, challenge themselves and discover what they could achieve. It was wonderful to see the children growing in confidence, resilience and independence as they approached each activity with enthusiasm and determination.
Just as importantly, the residential encouraged pupils to work together, support one another and build friendships beyond their usual groups. Whether celebrating successes, overcoming challenges or sharing moments of laughter, the Year 5 cohort demonstrated excellent teamwork and a real sense of community throughout the experience.
The trip created memories that will last a lifetime and was a fantastic way for the children to develop new skills while having enormous fun along the way. We are incredibly proud of how they represented both themselves and Windlesham House throughout the adventure.
