Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

There has been plenty of excitement in the drama department this week as pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 auditioned for roles in this term’s production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The auditions were great fun, with pupils showcasing their talents through singing, learning choreography and performing scenes from the show. Everyone approached the process with enthusiasm, energy and commitment, making the casting process both enjoyable and inspiring.

On Monday, our cast of more than 50 pupils discovered which roles they will be playing, and rehearsals are now well underway. We are already looking forward to seeing the unforgettable characters, catchy songs and colourful world of Wonka’s factory brought to life on stage.

The production will take place in the MFT on Thursday 19 November at 6.00pm and Friday 20 November at 2.00pm.

We cannot wait to share the finished production with you and look forward to welcoming audiences for what promises to be a wonderful show!
