Exploring geography

This half term during their geography lessons, Year 3 has been diving into the fascinating landscapes of the United Kingdom, exploring hills, mountains, and riding the waves of rivers. Whether it is the mighty Thames or the meandering Arun in West Sussex, these young minds are soaking up the knowledge like sponges.

Our map skills were put to the test when we used an atlas to work out the names of the countries Father Christmas had visited. Not only that, we then had to consolidate our understanding of compass points to navigate a grid to locate some Christmas themed objects.

Challenging, fun and still educational!
