Ahoy!

Yo ho ho, it really was a day of nautical fun on Monday in Year one! Pirate Day was declared by the children as, “The best day ever!”. One of our little friends assured us that it was almost as exciting as Christmas Day itself! The children made glittery treasure slime and put the appealing pots inside our own decorated treasure chests, as well as making colourful pet parrots from paper cups. When Captain Mary Read arrived at Windlesham House, she recruited all of the children as crew to find the unclaimed treasure of William Kidd. The classrose to the challenge and located the golden coins with enthusiasm. The adventure continued up in the forest with Ms Wild where there was a treasure hunt around the Windlesham House woods.
