Weekly pastoral theme: Empathy

The children have been discussing empathy and why it is important they put themselves in other people’s shoes. By demonstrating empathy, they were able to become better listeners, develop  imaginations, practise kindness and share the burdens of others. Our school code of conduct – respect – enables children and staff are able to develop their empathy and create a culture of care and understanding.
