Cooking up a storm

This week, Pre-Prep pupils have been making a range of goodies linked to their topic work. We have made Alice in Wonderland crazy cakes and prince and princess topped muffins. Year 5 has been consolidating oven and hob work by melting chocolate, making crumbles and apple cakes. Year 6 is coming to the end of their baking stage for the forthcoming suppers, filling the freezer with delicious bakes and savoury meals. Year 7 made a fantastic show of creating puff pastry and using it to make sausage rolls. It has been hot work this week, given the temperature outside, but the children have been enthusiastic, and as always, ready to cook!

Autumn Open Mornings
