Exploring relationships

During this half term all of the children have been exploring their relationships with family, friends, teachers etc. and have been thinking about which behaviours result in successful relationships rather than unhealthy ones. They  learnt that the most important relationship they will ever have with anyone is themselves, so they needed to make it a fantastic one! One of the exercises Year 7 completed was to identify all of the fabulous things they felt about their friends and in return discovered all of the wonderful things their friends think about them. They taped certificates onto their backs writing compliments specific to each friend. Pupils were given a clear laminate each so they could transfer all the qualities that were written about them to make a colourful window display.
