We are currently looking to appoint for January 2022 a dynamic part time Teaching Assistant to support our Junior classes. Those with experience of working with young children and a Teaching Assistant qualification are invited to apply.

Supervision Assistants

Required for an immediate start and subject to safer recruitment practices, an energetic person with a positive approach to help with the supervision of the children when they are not in formal lessons. The successful candidate will need to be a good time keeper, confident when dealing with pupils and a good communicator.

The role will include lunch & break times supervision and assisting children in games and other activities.

Shift patterns are Monday to Friday

Shift 1 – 12:15 pm to 2:15 pm – Lunch time supervision

Shift 2 – 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm – Break & activities supervision

Science Technician - Immediate Start

We have a vacancy for a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Science Technician. Successful applicants will be expected to provide a full range of technical support services to the Science Team to aid teaching in all science subjects up to Common Entrance Scholarship level (KS3/4). A scientific background and laboratory experience are highly desirable, as is knowledge of the practical needs of the science curriculum and the ability to prepare materials and resources for teaching laboratories. The successful candidate for this post will also ideally have prior experience as a school or college Science Technician.

Hours of work – 8am to 1pm Monday to Friday term time only

School Nurse

We are looking to recruit a School Nurse to join a small and friendly team of nurses in our Medical Centre to cover the following term time shifts

Monday to Thursday   1:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Alternate Saturdays    7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Sunday evening          6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

To be successful you will need to be a RGN and ideally have experience of working with children aged 4 – 13 years or RN (child). Experience of working as an autonomous practitioner beneficial. We offer competitive rates of pay.

General Kitchen Assistant

Job Title: Food Service Assistant

Reporting to: Catering Manager, Holroyd Howe

Overall Objectives: To provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the location.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
  • To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
  • To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.

Client Service:

  • To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
  • To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; to seek the appropriate knowledge of food items sold through out catering areas and to keep areas and service counters clean and fully stocked.

People

  • To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
  • To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen / service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.

Health & Safety, Food Safety, the Environment

  • To attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required.
  • To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.

Visiting Music Teacher

This is an exciting time for a Visiting Music Teacher to join our dynamic and busy music department, and as from September 2021 we require an experienced bassoon teacher. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent lessons to prep school aged children. Sports & Games Assistant

Required for September 2021, and subject to safer recruitment practices, an energetic person with a positive approach who is confident with children aged 8 – 13 to help with the provision of sports lessons and matches. Other duties will include supervising the children when they are not in formal lessons during lunch and break times.

An interest in, and knowledge of the major codes of sport would be an advantage.

The hours of work are 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday or Sunday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm term time only. A day off in the week will be provided in lieu of working one day of the weekend. There will also be the additional opportunity to engage with the provision of Holiday camps outside the usual term time

This role would suit a well-qualified graduate looking for work experience in an educational setting.
