Year 6 had a fantastic trip to the Winchester Science Centre. They went on an exciting tour of our solar system in the planetarium learning interesting new facts about planets and moons. They loved the rocket workshop in which they were tasked to design aerodynamic rockets showing how they could be propelled the furthest. Some were more successful than others! The interactive exhibits were brilliant. The pupils built LEGO models to withstand earthquakes, listened to sound traveling down a tube for eight kilometres and felt the weight of a can of beans on different planets, plus much, much more!
