Windlesham school bus service

Windlesham runs its own fleet of minibuses offering a comprehensive bus service for pupils 5 days a week in the local surrounding areas.

Bus Route 1 overview: Chichester, Arundel, Findon Village

Bus Route 2 overview: Petworth, Pulborough, Storrington

Bus Route 3 overview: Brighton, Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea, Steyning

Bus Route 4 overview: Horsham, West Chiltington

A bus timetable detailing the bus stops, collection and drop-off times is available from the school office.  Additional pick up points will be considered as well as new routes if there is sufficient interest in that area.

The School offers a bus service for children travelling from London to Windlesham. The cost is £35, per child, per journey. Dates for the London Bus for the current term can be found below:

BUS RULES

  1. The bus will leave London at 5pm. The bus will depart exactly on time.
  2. The bus leaving school will depart at 1pm and arrive in London from 2.30pm. Please ensure you are on time to meet your child. If not collected by 3pm, your child will be returned to school.
  3. One passenger per seat.
  4. Seat belts must be worn at all times. No one should be standing up while the bus is in motion.
  5. The school escort will keep the telephone switched on so that the school or parents can make contact.
  6. The escorting member of staff must allow the bus to stop at a suitable stopping point if any passenger is feeling sick or needs to go to the lavatory.
  7. Food and drink may not be consumed on the bus so please do not give your children sweets, crisps etc. Bread, butter, jams and cereal etc. will be available at school on arrival.
  8. Electronic games are not allowed on the bus as they cannot be brought back into school. Throughout the journey we expect the children to be reasonably quiet and well behaved. Any child who is persistently disruptive will not be allowed to travel on the bus.
  9. The escorting member of staff will make sure that the bus is clean and tidy and that the children remove all their belongings.
