This week saw us host our annual inter-house swimming galas on Monday for Years 3-7 and the Pre-Prep gala on Tuesday. Unlike the other galas throughout the year, this was open to the whole school to compete and wow – what excellent swimming there was on display!
The sports department was so impressed with the camaraderie and particularly the “fear not and give it a go” attitude, especially in the butterfly events! The annual house raft race, which is always a favourite amongst the pupils, went down a treat, and the house chants poolside practically lifted the pool roof off! Scott were the overhaul victors!
The Pre-Prep gala was a delight, giving everyone the opportunity to show off all the aquatic skills they have learnt throughout the year, as well as competing in their mini raft races.
