Performing Arts

We have a long-standing tradition of excellence in music and drama.

This is reflected in the many famous alumni who have become musicians and actors, including Mumford & Sons, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Michael Hordern, Guy Ritchie, Tamzin Merchant, Adam Buxton, Alfie Allen, Noah Huntley and John Michie.

All the children have the opportunity to perform and support backstage too. This year, we have already had a wonderful performances of our annual Windlesham’s Got Talent, Windlesham Rocks, West End Showcase and an Evening of Dance and Drama. We are looking forward to Legally Blonde. Previously, we have performed Matilda, Around the World in 80 Days, Bugsy Malone,’ ‘Skellig’ and original bespoke work written especially for the children to name but a few.

The children win a large number of scholarships in music, arts, drama and the ‘all-rounder’ category, reflecting our philosophy of producing the ‘rounded child’. Children thrive in every dimension of life when they find channels for self-expression, and we spend a lot of time making sure this happens for each child.
