28.05.26 | Windlesham Rocks 2026 hits all the right notes

This year, Windlesham Rocks set out to be bigger and better than ever before and judging by the immensely long set list beforehand, it was certainly going to be bigger (and longer!). With an incredible depth of musical talent on show throughout the evening, the evening was a triumph.

From The Night Howlers, a band of Year 4 boys who not only performed but also wrote their own song, Those Years Ago, through to a host of talented Year 8 performers singing hits from the 1990s right up to the present day, every one of the 24 acts was polished, energetic and gave 100%.

The audience was treated to an exciting variety of performances. Spanish pupils danced and sang their way through Waka Waka in Spanish, there was an electrifying Japanese dance music duet, a memorable “Piano Man” performance complete with harmonica, another impressive band made up of Year 5 pupils and a saxophone accompaniment for Mac’s stunning Valeria rendition.

The atmosphere throughout the evening was fantastic with pupils demonstrating not only exceptional musical ability but also confidence, creativity and teamwork. Windlesham Rocks continues to grow from strength to strength and this year’s event was a wonderful celebration of the talent and enthusiasm within the performing arts community.
