Chess success!

Three strong chess teams entered Tuesday’s tournament at Cottesmore. In the ‘A’ team tournament, Windlesham matched Brighton College to finish 1st equal with them. In the ‘B’ team tournament, we were too skilled for any of the other teams! Of the eight participating schools, Windlesham placed 1st overall with 24 points Sidhanth placed 2nd individually, narrowly missing out on 1st place to the Sussex U18 champion. Joshua T also had a fantastic day, winning five out of six games. Special mentions also go to Kyle for his great application and Michael K who stepped in to support Dorset House who were one player short – great sportsmanship.
