The eagerly awaited 2024 edition of Windlesham’s Got Talent took place on Thursday night, and what a show we had! With 19 brilliant acts with over 80 pupils from every year in the school from Year 1 to Year 8 there was dancing, singing, comedy, rapping, drumming, marimbas and even circus skills on show, and every single one of them delivered on the night! There were too many highlights to pick out – the photo’s speak for themselves and we look forward to the video coming out soon – but our poor judge Emma Kassim (Director of Drama at Burgess Hill Girls) had the unenviable task of selecting a winner, and after awarding the Junior highly commended place to Hugo’s moving – both literally and emotionally – rendition of Stars from Les Mis and the Senior highly commended to Harry B’s hilarious comedy routine about grumpy teachers, she awarded the trophy to Matilda for her spellbinding performance of Part Of Your World from the Little Mermaid.
