An inspiring science lecture at Charterhouse

Some of our outstanding Year 7 scientists had the wonderful opportunity to attend an inspiring science lecture at Charterhouse School. The session, led by the head of science and his talented technician team, delved into the intriguing chemistry of air. The children were wowed with some amazing demonstrations which educated and amazed them in equal measure. They explored how oxygen fuels combustion, discovered the impressive energy of hydrogen, and even enjoyed ice cream crafted with liquid nitrogen! What an unforgettable and enriching experience for our young scientists!
