Stowe Putter success

Ex-pupil Miles and his brother, a current pupil, Tristan took part in The Stowe Putter, an event that has been going for 50 years plus. Over 50 children took part in such wonderful surroundings with not a cloud in the sky. Just stunning!

Tristan thoroughly enjoyed himself and soaked up the atmosphere with big crowds around the course. Tristan came third in his age group only a couple of shots behind the winner – his overall game was superb.

Miles played incredibly well on practice day and an absolutely awesome on match day. His game was faultless. The crowds were slightly bigger with Miles’s group as he was the second to last group out but he wasn’t bothered by this, concentrating on his game. In the end, he was defeated, albeit on the 18th by one shot and although gutted, he took it very well and finished Second overall. A brilliant result.

As both boys took part they also played as a team and, based on points, were the winners. A first for Windlesham! We look forward to displaying the long awaited trophy!
