On Tuesday we went to Anne of Cleves House in Lewes. First we did some Drama. We dressed up in Tudor clothes and I dressed up as Anne Boleyn and had my head chopped off by a French executioner. He used a sword not an axe because the sword was sharper and it was a French executioner because he was better. I wore a green velvet dress with a green velvet headdress too.

In the kitchen we saw a huge fireplace with a big pot in it and a bread oven. We made little lavender bags and we ground herbs in a pestle and mortar. We stuck cloves in an orange to make a pomander. In the garden there was a medlar tree and it had lots of fruit on it. It is a very unusual tree.  There was a herb garden too.

It was a really fun day!
